Starting and stopping local servers
See the database servers installed on your machine and start or stop them without leaving AddisDB.
Open Local Servers and AddisDB scans your machine for database servers you have already installed — whether through a package manager or running as containers — and lists them with their status and port.
What it does and does not do
This manages what is already on your machine. It does not install engines. If you want a database you do not have yet, add a connection and choose the Docker option — AddisDB will bring one up for you.
Connecting to something that is not running
If you try to connect to a local database whose server is stopped, AddisDB offers to start it rather than handing you a connection-refused error to go and debug.
